(Kamikochi Side)
Winter Road Closure Notice

The ladders along the mountain trail from Kamikochi to Yakedake are damaged by freezing in the winter and avalanches in the early spring. Therefore, they are removed during the winter and reinstalled the following spring.
As a result, the section between the Kamikochi trailhead and Yakedake Hut will be completely closed during the following period.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
